शतृशानचोः ॥२ । ४ । ४२ ॥ p. 127शतृ Par. Pres. Part. Ter. and शानचू Atm. Pres. Part. Ter. are changed respectively to art and act. By another Sutra 'वा लड्लोट्छतषु', the preceding अ is changed to ए when followed by लट्, लोट्, and शतृ. e.g. हसति = हसइ-हसेइ; हसतु=हसउ-हसेउ; हसन्-हसन्तो-हसेन्तो । भू substitutes हो, हुव, and हव, (by 'होहुवहवा भुवेस्तु') and also हु before terminations that are nob चित्. The Pres. Participle of भू in Prakrita is thus होमाणो होन्तो--- हुवमाणो–हुवेमाणो-हुवन्तो–हुवेन्तो-हवमाणो-हवेमाणो-हवन्तोहवेन्तो हुन्तो (हु is not substituted before शानच्, because it is चित् ). In the passive forms y of the passivo is changed to ge and इज ('ईअइज्जो यकः')अनुभूयमानः = अणुहोईअमाणो-अणुहोइज्जमाणो-अणुहोईअन्तो--अणुहोइज्जन्तो. तुमत्तआणतूणाः क्त्वः ॥२।१।२९ ॥ p. 152The termination car of the indeclinable past participle is changed to तुं, अत् ( अ ), तुआण, and तूण. ७. J. तुम्-दृष्ट्वा दटुं; मुक्त्वा-मोत्त; हसित्वा-हसेउं-हसिउं. अत्-भ्रान्त्वा-भमिअ; रन्त्वा-रमिअ; हसित्वा-हसेअ--हसिअ. तूण-गृहीत्वा-घेत्तणणं; कृत्वा-काऊण-णं; हसित्वा-हसेऊण-णं हसिऊण-णं. तुआण-गृहीत्वा-घेत्तआण-णं; श्रुत्वा-सोउआण-णं; हसेउ-हसेउआण--णं; हसिउआण-णं. .
