AN OPINION
By! Dr. Johannes Hertel, Professor of Sanskrit in the University of Leipzig. "As to Priyankara-nộpa-katha, no introduction i it can possibly be written without the rest of thi text. The story is interesting, not only from the view of Jain religion, but also from that of folk-lore and that of language, as it contains many stanza not only in Prakrit, but in old Gujarati as well When finished, I therefore should like to use it as i text-book with some of my pupils who are interested in narrative literature.”
