अवन्ध्यकोपप्रसाद adj. lit.:
'master of beauty', hence foremost among the handsome'. 6.8. This is a peculiarly Old Guj. word, its more frequent form being a. The first member of the compound has come from old Dravidian alava-aḍava denoting beauty, while the second one is Sk. iśvara.
