________________ एकोनविंशोत्तरशतं पर्व ३१५ एवं श्रीमति निष्क्रान्ते रामे जातानि षोडश । श्रमणानां सहस्राणि साधिकानि महीपते ॥४१॥ सप्तविंशसहस्राणि प्रधानवरयोषिताम् । श्रीमतीश्रमणीपावें बभूवुः परमार्थिकाः ॥४२॥ अथ पद्माभनिग्रन्थो गुरोः प्राप्यानुमोदनम् । एकाकी विहतद्वन्द्वो विहारं प्रतिपन्नवान् ।।४३॥ गिरिगह्वरदेशेषु भीमेषु क्षुब्धचेतसाम् । अरश्वापदशब्देषु रात्रौ वासमसेवत ॥४४॥ गृहीतोत्तमयोगस्य विधिसद्धावसङ्गिनः । तस्यामेवास्य शर्वर्यामवधिज्ञानमुद्दतम् ॥४५॥ आलोकत यथाऽवस्थं रूपि येनाखिलं जगत् । यथा पाणितलन्यस्तं विमलं स्फटिकोपलम् ॥४६॥ ततो विदितमेतेनापरतो लक्ष्मणो यथा । विक्रियां तु मनो नास्य गतं विच्छिन्नबन्धनम् ॥४७॥ समा शतं कुमारत्वे मण्डलित्वे शतत्रयम् । चत्वारिंशच्च विजय यस्य संवत्सरा मताः॥४८॥ एकादशसहस्राणि तथा पञ्चशतानि च । अब्दानां षष्टिरन्या च साम्राज्यं येन सेवितम् ।।४६॥ योऽसौ वर्षसहस्राणि प्राप्य द्वादश 'भोगिताम् । ऊनानि पञ्चविंशत्या वितृप्तिरवरं गतः ॥५०॥ देवयोस्तत्र नो दोषः सर्वाकारेण विद्यते । तथा हि प्राप्तकालोऽयं भ्रातृमृत्य्वपदेशतः ॥५१॥ अनेकं मम तस्यापि विविधं जन्म तद्गतम् । वसुदत्तादिकं मोहपरायत्तितचेतसः ॥५२॥ एवं सर्वमतिक्रान्तमज्ञासीत् पद्मसंयतः। धैर्यमत्युत्तमं बिभ्रवतशीलधराधरः ॥५३॥ परया लेश्यया युक्तो गम्भीरो गुणसागरः । बभूव स महाचेताः सिद्धिलक्ष्मीपरायणः ॥५४॥ युष्मान पि वदाम्यस्मिन् सर्वानिह समागतान् । रमध्वं तत्र सन्मार्गे रतो यत्र रघूत्तमः ॥५५॥ त्यागकर दीक्षा धारण की थी उनमेंसे कितने ही लोगोंको पुनः चारणऋद्धि उत्पन्न हो गई थी ॥४०॥ गौतम स्वामी कहते हैं कि हे राजन! उस समय रामके दीक्षा लेनेपर कल अधिक सोलह हजार साधु हुए और सत्ताईस हजार प्रमुख प्रमुख स्त्रियाँ श्रीमती नामक साध्वीके पास आर्यिका हुई॥४१-४२॥ ____ अथानन्तर गुरुकी आज्ञा पाकर श्रीराम निम्रन्थ मुनि,सुख-दुःखादिके द्वन्द्वको दूरकर एकाकी विहारको प्राप्त हुए ॥४३॥ वे रात्रिके समय पहाड़ोंकी उन गुफाओं में निवास करते थे जो चश्चल चित्त मनुष्योंके लिए भय उत्पन्न करनेवाले थे तथा जहाँ कर हिंसक जन्तुओंके शब्द व्याप्त हो रहे थे ॥४४॥ उत्तम योगके धारक एवं योग्य विधिका पालन करनेवाले उन मुनिको उसी रातमें अवधिज्ञान उत्पन्न हो गया ॥४५॥ उस अवधिज्ञानके प्रभावसे वे समस्त रूपी जगत्को हथेलीपर रखे हुए निर्मल स्फटिकके समान ज्यों-का-त्यों देखने लगे ॥४६॥ उस अवधिज्ञानके द्वारा उन्होंने यह भी जान लिया कि लक्ष्मण परभवमें कहाँ गया परन्तु यतश्च उनका मन सब प्रकारके बन्धन तोड़ चुका था इसलिए विकारको प्राप्त नहीं हुआ ॥४७॥ वे सोचने लगे कि देखो, जिसके सौ वर्ष कुमार अवस्थामें, तीन सौ वर्ष मण्डलेश्वर अवस्थामें और चालीस वर्ष दिग्विजयमें व्यतीत हुए ॥४८|| जिसने ग्यारह हजार पाँच सौ साठ वर्ष तक साम्राज्य पदका सेवन किया ॥४६॥ और जिसने पच्चीस कम बारह हजार वर्ष भोगीपना प्राप्तकर व्यतीत किये वह लक्ष्मण अन्तमें भोगोंसे तृप्त न होकर नीचे गया ॥५०॥ लक्ष्मणके मरणमें उन दोनों देवोंका कोई दोष नहीं है, यथार्थमें भाईकी मृत्युके बहाने उसका वह काल ही आ पहुंचा था ।।५।। जिसका चित्त मोहके आधीन था ऐसे मेरे तथा उसके वसुदत्तको आदि लेकर अनेक प्रकारके नाना जन्म साथ-साथ बीत चुके हैं ।।५२।। इस प्रकार व्रत और शीलके पर्वत तथा उत्तम धैर्यको धारण करनेवाले पद्ममुनिने समस्त बीती बात जान ली ॥५३॥ वे पद्ममुनि उत्तम लेश्यासे युक्त, गम्भीर, गुणोंके सागर, उदार हृदय एवं मुक्ति रूपी लक्ष्मीके प्राप्त करनेमें तत्पर थे ॥५४।। गौतमस्वामी कहते हैं कि हे श्रेणिक ! मैं यहाँ आये हुए तुम सब लोगोंसे भी कहता हूँ कि तुम लोग १. योगिताम् म० । २. द्वेषः म० । Jain Education International For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
