पद्म पुराणे
उवाच भगवान् राम न शोकं कत्तुमर्हसि । ऐश्वर्य बलदेवस्य भोक्तव्यं भवता ध्रुवम् ॥२६५॥ राज्यलक्ष्मी परिप्राप्य दिवीव त्रिदशाधिपः । जैनेश्वरं व्रतं प्राप्य कैवल्यमयमेष्यसि ॥२६६॥
आर्याच्छन्दः श्रत्वा केवलिभापितमुत्तमहर्षप्रजातपुलको रामः । विकसितनयनः श्रीमान् प्रसन्नवदनो बभूव धृत्या युक्तः ॥२६७॥ विज्ञाय चरमदेहं दाशरथिं विस्मिताः सुरासुरमनुजाः ।
केवलिरविणोद्योतितमत्यन्तप्रीतिमानसाः समशंसन् ॥२६८॥ इत्याचे श्रीरविषेणाचार्यप्रोक्त पद्मपुराणे रामधर्मश्रवणाभिधानं नाम पञ्चोत्तरशतं पर्व ॥१०५॥
आधारके स्नेहरूपी सागरकी तरङ्गोंमें तैर रहा हूँ, सो हे मुनीन्द्र ! अवलम्बन देकर मेरी रक्षा करो ॥२६४।। तदनन्तर भगवान् सर्वभूषण केवलीने कहा कि हे राम! तुम शोक करनेके योग्य नहीं हो । आपको बलदेवका वैभव अवश्य भोगना चाहिए। जिस प्रकार इन्द्र स्वर्गकी राज्यलक्ष्मीको प्राप्त होता है उसी प्रकार यहाँकी राज्यलक्ष्मीको पाकर तुम अन्तमें जिनेश्वर दीक्षाको धारण करोगे तथा केबलज्ञानमय मोक्षधामको प्राप्त होओगे ॥२६५-२६६॥ इस प्रकार केवली भगवान् का उपदेश सुनकर जिन्हें हर्षातिरेकसे रोमाञ्च निकल आये थे, जिनके नेत्र विकसित थे, जो श्रीमान् थे एवं प्रसन्नमुख थे ऐसे श्रीराम धैर्य-सुख संतोषसे युक्त हुए॥२६७॥ गौतम स्वामी कहते हैं कि वहाँ जो भी सुर-असुर और मनुष्य थे वे रामको चरम शरीरी जानकर आश्चर्यसे चकित हो गये तथा अत्यन्त प्रसन्नचित्त हो केवलीरूपी सूर्यके द्वारा प्रकाशित वस्तुतत्त्वको प्रशंसा करने लगे ॥२६॥ इस प्रकार आर्ष नामसे प्रसिद्ध , रविषेणाचार्य द्वारा कथित पद्मपुराणमें रामके धर्म
श्रवणका वर्णन करनेवाला एकसौ पाँचवाँ पर्व समाप्त हुआ ॥१०॥
