छिन्नपादभुजस्कन्धकर्णवनातिनासिकाः । भिन्नतालुशिरःकुक्षिहृदया निपतन्ति ते ॥२५॥ कुम्भीपाकेषु पच्यन्ते केचिदूर्वीकृताङ्घ्रयः । यन्त्रैः केचिनिपीडयन्ते बलिभिः परुषस्वनम् ॥१२६॥ अरिभिः परमनोधैः केचिन् मुद्गरपीडिताः । कुर्वते लोठनं भूमौ सुमहावेदनाकुलाः ॥१२॥ महातृष्णार्दिता दीना याचन्ते वारिविह्वलाः । ततः प्रदीयते तेषां पुतानादिविद्रतम् ॥१२॥ स्फुलिङ्गोद्गमरौद्रं तं तत्रोद्वीच्य विकम्पिताः । परावर्तितचेतस्का वाष्पपूरितकण्टकाः ।।१२६॥ व्रवते नास्ति तृष्णा मे मुच मुच बजाम्यहम् । अनिच्छतां ततस्तेषां तद्वलेन प्रदीयते ॥१३॥ विनिपात्य चितावेषां क्रन्दतां लोहदण्डकैः । विदार्यास्यं विषं रक्तं कलिलं च निधीयते ॥१३॥ तत्तेषां प्रदहत्कण्ठं हृदयं स्फोटयद् भृशम् । जठरं प्राप्य निर्याति पुरीषराशिना समम् ॥१३२॥ पश्चात्तापहताः पश्चात् पालकैनरकावनेः । स्मार्यन्ते दुष्कृतं दीनाः कुशास्त्रपरिभाषितम् ॥ १३३।। गुरुलोकं समुल्लंध्य तदा वाक्पटुना सता । मासं निर्दोषमित्युक्तं यत्ते तत् वक्वाधुना गतम् ।।१३४॥ माङ्सेन बहुभेदेन मधुना च पुरा कृतम् । श्राद्धं गुणवदित्युक्तं यत्ते तत् क्वाधुना गतम् ।।१३५॥
कियरन्यराहत्याहत्य निष्टुरम् । कुर्वाणाः कृपणं चेष्टाः खाद्यन्ते स्वशरीरकम् ॥१३६।। स्वप्नदर्शननिःसारां स्मारयित्वा च राजताम् । तजातैरेव पीढ्यन्ते विरूवन्तो विडम्बनैः ॥१३७॥ एवमादीनि दुःखानि जीवाः पापकृतो नृप । निमेषमप्यविश्रान्ता लभन्ते नारकक्षितौ ॥१३॥
इन्युक्त्वा
समूहसे वे शरण रहित नारकी छिन्न-भिन्न हो जाते हैं ॥१२४॥ जिनके पैर, भुजा, स्कन्ध, कर्ण, मुख, आँख और नाक आदि अवयव कट गये हैं तथा जिनके तालु, शिर, पेट और हृदय विदीर्ण हो गये हैं ऐसे लोग वहाँ गिरते रहते हैं ॥१२५॥ जिनके पैर ऊपरको उठे हुए हैं ऐसे कितने ही नारकी दूसरे बलवान् नारकियोंके द्वारा कुम्भीपाकमें पकाये जाते हैं और कितने ही कठोर शब्द करते हुए घानियोंमें पेल दिये जाते हैं ॥१२६।। तीव्र क्रोधसे युक्त शत्रुओंने जिन्हें मुद्रसे पीड़ित किया है ऐसे कितने ही नारकी अत्यन्त तीव्र वेदनासे व्याकुल हो पृथिवी पर लोट जाते हैं ॥१२७॥ तीव्र प्याससे पीड़ित दीन हीन नारकी विह्वल हो पानी माँगते हैं पर पानी के बदले उन्हें पिघला हुआ राँगा और ताँबा दिया जाता है ।।१२८॥ निकलते हुए तिलगीसे भयंकर उस राँगा आदिके द्रवको देखकर वे प्यासे नारकी काँप उठते हैं, उनके चित्त फिर जाते हैं तथा कण्ठ आँसुओंसे भर जाते हैं ॥१२६।। वे कहते हैं कि मुझे प्यास नहीं है, छोड़ो-छोड़ो मैं जाता हूँ पर नहीं चाहने पर भी उन्हें बलात् वह द्रव पिलाया जाता है ॥१३०|| चिल्लाते हुए उन नारकियोंको पृथिवी पर गिराकर तथा लोहे के डंडेसे उनका मुख फाड़कर उसमें बलात् विष, रक्त तथा ताँवा आदिका द्रव डाला जाता है ॥१३१॥ वह द्रव उनके कण्ठको जलाता और हृदयको फोड़ता हुआ पेटमें पहुँचता है और मलकी राशिके साथ-साथ बाहर निकल जाता है ।।१३२।। तदनन्तर जब वे पश्चातापसे दुःखी होते हैं तब उन दीन हीन नारकियोंको नरक भूमिके रक्षक मिथ्याशास्त्रों द्वारा कथित पापका स्मरण दिलाते है ॥१३३।। वे कहते हैं कि उस समय तुमने बोलनेमें चतुर होनेके कारण गुरुजनोंका उल्लंघन कर 'मांस निर्दोष है' यह कहा था सो अब तुम्हारा वह कहना कहाँ गया ? ॥१३४॥ 'नानाप्रकारके मांस और मदिराके द्वारा किया हुआ श्राद्ध अधिक फलदायी होता है, ऐसा जो तुमने पहले कहा था सो अब तुम्हारा वह कहना कहाँ गया ? ॥१३५।। यह कहकर उन्हें विक्रिया युक्त नारकी बड़ी निर्दयतासे मार-मारकर उन्हींका शरीर खिलाते हैं तथा वे अत्यन्त दीन चेष्टाएँ करते हैं ॥१३६॥ 'राज्य-अवस्था स्वप्न-दर्शनके समान निःसार है। यह स्मरण दिलाकर उन्हींसे उत्पन्न हुए विडम्बनाकारी उन्हें पीडित करते हैं और वे करुणक्रन्दन करते हैं ॥१३७।। गौतमस्वामी कहते हैं कि हे राजन् ! पाप करनेवाले जीव नारकियोंकी भूमिमें

Those whose feet, arms, shoulders, ears, faces, eyes, and noses are cut off, and whose palates, heads, bellies, and hearts are torn apart, fall there. ||25||

Some with their legs stretched upwards are cooked in cauldrons by other powerful Narakas. Others are crushed by machines, making harsh sounds. ||126||

Some are beaten with maces by enemies filled with intense anger. They roll on the ground, overwhelmed by immense pain. ||127||

Tormented by intense thirst, the wretched Narakas, bewildered, beg for water. But instead of water, they are given melted lead and copper. ||128||

Seeing that terrible liquid, flowing from the burning embers, those thirsty Narakas tremble, their minds become confused, and their throats fill with tears. ||129||

They say, "I am not thirsty, leave me alone, I am going." But despite their unwillingness, they are forcibly made to drink that liquid. ||130||

They are thrown to the ground, crying out, and their mouths are torn open with iron rods. Poison, blood, and copper are forcibly poured into them. ||131||

That liquid burns their throats, shatters their hearts, and reaches their stomachs, exiting along with a mass of excrement. ||132||

Later, when they are filled with remorse, the guardians of the Naraka realm remind those wretched Narakas of their sins, as described by false scriptures. ||133||

They say, "At that time, you were eloquent and transgressed the Gurus, saying, 'Meat is harmless.' Where is that statement of yours now?" ||134||

"You said, 'Shraddha performed with various types of meat and alcohol is very fruitful.' Where is that statement of yours now?" ||135||

Saying this, those Narakas, filled with cruelty, kill them and feed on their own bodies. They perform extremely wretched acts. ||136||

"The state of kingship is as ephemeral as a dream." Reminding them of this, those born from them torment them with mockery, and they cry out in sorrow. ||137||
