________________ १० पद्मपुराणे सङ्गमे सङ्गमे रम्ये चवरे चवरे पृथौ । बभूवुश्चैस्यसङ्घाता महाशोभासमन्विताः || १५ || शरच्चन्द्रसितच्छायाः सङ्गीतध्वनिहारिणः । नानातूर्यस्वनोद्भूतक्षुब्ध सिन्धुसमस्वनाः ॥१६॥ त्रिसन्ध्यं वन्दनोद्युक्तः साधुसङ्घः समाकुलाः । गम्भीरा विविधाश्चर्याश्चित्रपुष्पोपशोभिताः ॥ १७॥ विभूत्या परया युक्ता नानावर्णमणित्विषः । सुविस्तीर्णाः समुत्तुङ्गा महाध्वजविराजिताः ॥ १८ ॥ जिनेन्द्रप्रतिमास्तेषु हेमरूयादिमूर्तयः । पञ्चवर्णा भृशं रेजुः परिवारसमन्विताः ॥ १३ ॥ पुरे च खेचराणां च स्थाने स्थानेऽतिचारुभिः । जिनप्रासादसत्कुटै र्विजयार्द्धगिरिर्वरः ॥२०॥ नानारत्नमयैः कान्तैरुद्यानादित्रिभूषितैः । व्याप्तं जगदिदं रेजे जिनेन्द्रभवनैः शुभैः ॥२१॥ महेन्द्रनगराकारा लङ्काऽप्येवं मनोहरा । अन्तर्बहिश्व जैनेन्द्रर्भवनैः पापहारिभिः ||२२|| यथाष्टादशसङ्ख्यानां सहस्राणां सुयोषिताम् । पद्मिनीनां सहस्रांशुः स चिक्रीड दशाननः ॥२३॥ प्रावृमेघदलच्छायो नागनासा महाभुजः । पूर्णेन्दुवदनः कान्तो । बन्धूकच्छदनाधरः ॥ २४ ॥ विशालनयनो नारीमनःकर्षणविभ्रमः । लक्ष्मीधरसमाकारो दिव्यरूपसमन्वितः ॥ २५ ॥ शार्दूलविक्रीडितवृत्तम् प्रासादमालावृते नानारत्नमये दशाननगृहे चैत्यालयोद्भासिते । हेमस्तम्भसहस्रशोभि विपुलं मध्ये स्थितं भासुरं Jain Education International तस्मिन्नाश्रितसर्वलोकनयने तु शान्तिगृहं स यत्र भगवान् शान्तिर्जिनः स्थापितः ॥ २६ ॥ गाँव, वन वनमें पत्तन पत्तनमें, महल महलमें, नगर नगर में, संगम संगममें, तथा मनोहर और सुन्दर चौराहे चौराहे पर महाशोभासे युक्त जिनमन्दिर बने हुए थे || १४-१५ || वे मन्दिर शरदऋतुके चन्द्रमाके समान कान्तिसे युक्त थे, संगोतकी ध्वनिसे मनोहर थे, तथा नाना वादित्रोंके शब्दसे उनमें क्षोभको प्राप्त हुए समुद्र के समान शब्द हो रहे थे || १६ || वे मन्दिर तीनों संध्याओं में वन्दना के लिए उद्यत साधुओंके समूहसे व्याप्त रहते थे, गम्भीर थे, नाना आचार्यों से सहित थे और विविध प्रकारके पुष्पोंके उपहारसे सुशोभित थे ॥ १७॥ परम विभूति से युक्त थे, नाना रङ्गके मणियोंकी कान्तिसे जगमगा रहे थे, अत्यन्त विस्तृत थे, ऊँचे थे और बड़ी-बड़ी ध्वजाओंसे सहित थे || १८ || उन मन्दिरोंमें सुवर्ण, चाँदी आदिकी बनी छत्रत्रय चमरादि परिवार से सहित पाँच वर्णकी जिनप्रतिमाएँ अत्यन्त सुशोभित थीं ||१६|| विद्याधरोंके नगर में स्थान-स्थान पर बने हुए अत्यन्त सुन्दर जिनमन्दिरोंके शिखरोंसे विजयार्ध पर्वत उत्कृष्ट हो रहा था || २० || इस प्रकार यह समस्त संसार बाग-बगीचोंसे सुशोभित, नानारत्नमयी, शुभ और सुन्दर जिनमन्दिरोंसे व्याप्त हुआ अत्यधिक सुशोभित था || २१|| इन्द्रके नगर के समान वह लङ्का भी भीतर और बाहर बने हुए पापापहारी जिनमन्दिरोंसे अत्यन्त मनोहर थी ||२२|| गौतम स्वामी कहते हैं कि वर्षाऋतुके मेघसमूहके समान जिसकी कान्ति थी, हाथीकी सूँड़के समान जिसकी लम्बी-लम्बी भुजाएँ थीं, पूर्णचन्द्र के समान जिसका मुख था, दुपहरिया के फूलके समान जिसके लाल-लाल ओंठ थे, जो स्वयं सुन्दर था, जिसके बड़े-बड़े नेत्र थे, जिसकी चेष्टाएँ स्त्रियोंके मनको आकृष्ट करनेवाली थीं, लक्ष्मीधर-लक्ष्मणके समान जिसका आकार था और जो दिव्यरूप से सहित था, ऐसा दशानन, कमलिनियोंके साथ सूर्यके समान अपनी अठारह हजार स्त्रियोंके साथ क्रीड़ा करता था ।। २३ - २५|| जिसपर सब लोगोंके नेत्र लग रहे थे, जो अन्य महलों की पंक्तिसे घिरा था, नानारत्नोंसे निर्मित था और चैत्यालयोंसे सुशोभित था, ऐसे दशाननके घर में सुवर्णमयी हजारों खम्भोंसे सुशोभित, विस्तृत, मध्यमें स्थित, देदीप्यमान और १. समाकुलः म० । For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
