पमपुराणे
एवं जनस्तत्र बभूव नाना-व्रतक्रियासनपवित्रचित्तः। समुद्रते भव्यजनस्य कस्य रवौ प्रकाशेन न 'युक्तिरस्ति ॥२७॥
इत्याचे श्रीरविषेणाचार्यप्रोक्त पद्मपुराणे भरतकेकयानिष्कमणाभिधानं
नाम षडशीतितमं पर्व ॥८६॥
आर्यिकाओं का समूह स्थित था इसलिए वह सभा अत्यधिक कमल और कमलिनियोंसे युक्त सरोवरके समान सुन्दर जान पड़ती थी ॥२६॥ गौतम स्वामी कहते हैं कि इस तरह वहाँ जितने मनुष्य विद्यमान थे उन सभीके चित्त नाना प्रकारकी व्रत सम्बन्धी क्रियाओंके संगसे पवित्र हो रहे थे सो ठीक ही है क्योंकि सूर्योदय होने पर कौन भव्य जन प्रकाशसे युक्त नहीं होता ? अर्थात् सभी होते हैं ॥२७॥
इस प्रकार आर्ष नामसे प्रसिद्ध, रविषेणाचार्य द्वारा कथित पद्मपुराणमें भरत और
केकयाकी दीक्षाका वर्णन करनेवाला छियासीवाँ पर्व समाप्त हुआ ॥८६॥
