एक सौ एकवाँ पर्व विवाह के योग्य अवस्था होने पर राजा वज्रजंघ अपनी रानी लक्ष्मी से उत्पन्न शशिचूला आदि बत्तीस पुत्रियाँ अनंगलवण को देने का निश्चय करता है और मदनांकुश के लिए योग्य पुत्री की तलाश में लग जाता है। वह बहुत कुछ विचार करने के बाद पृथिवीपुर के राजा की अमृतवती रानी के गर्भ से उत्पन्न कनकमाला नाम की पुत्री प्राप्त करने के लिए अपना दूत भेजता है। परन्तु राजा पृथु प्रस्ताव को अस्वीकृत कर इनको अपमानित करता है। इस घटना से वज्रजंघ रुष्ट होकर उसका देश उजाड़ना शुरू कर देता है। जब तक वह अपनी सहायता के लिए पोदन देश के राजा को बुलाता तब तक वज्रजंघ अपने पुत्रों को बुला लेता है। दोनों ओर से घनघोर युद्ध होता है। वज्रजंघ विजयी होता है और राजा पृथु अपनी पुत्री कनकमाला मदनांकुश के लिए दे देता है। विवाह के बाद दोनों वीर कुमार दिग्विजय कर अनेक राजाओं को आधीन करते हैं।
२४१-२४८ एक सौ दोवाँ पर्व साक्षात्कार होने पर नारद अनंगलवण-मदनांकुश से कहते हैं कि तुम दोनों की विभूति राम और लक्ष्मण के समान हो। यह सुन कुमार राम और लक्ष्मण का परिचय पूछते हैं। उत्तरस्वरूप नारद उनका परिचय देते हैं। राम और लक्ष्मण का परिचय देते हुए नारद सीता के परित्याग का भी उल्लेख करते हैं। एक गर्भिणी स्त्री को असहाय निर्जन अटवी में छुड़वाना...राम की यह बात कुमारों को अनुकूल नहीं जंचती और वे राम से युद्ध करने का निश्चय कर बैठते हैं। इसी प्रकरण में सीता अपनी सब कथा पुत्रों को सुनाती है और कहती है कि तुम लोग अपने पिता तथा चाचा से नम्रता के साथ मिलो। परन्तु वीर कुमारों को यह दीनता रुचिकर नहीं लगती। वे सेना सहित जाकर अयोध्या को घेर लेते हैं तथा राम-लक्ष्मण के साथ उनका घोर युद्ध होने लगता है।
२४६-२६२ एक सौ तीनवाँ पर्व राम और लक्ष्मण अमोघ शस्त्रों का प्रयोग करके भी जब दोनों कुमारों को नहीं जीत पाते हैं तब नारद की सम्मति से सिद्धार्थ नामक क्षुल्लक राम-लक्ष्मण के समक्ष उनका रहस्य प्रकट करते हुए कहते हैं-अहो देव ! ये सीता के उदर से उत्पन्न आपके युगल पुत्र हैं। सुनते ही राम-लक्ष्मण शस्त्र फेंक देते हैं। पिता-पुत्र का बड़े सौहार्द से समागम होता है। राम-लक्ष्मण की प्रसन्नता का पार नहीं रहता।
२६३-२६६ ___ एक सौ चारवाँ पर्व हनूमान्, सुग्रीव तथा विभीषण की प्रार्थना पर राम सीता को इस शर्त पर बुलाना स्वीकार कर लेते हैं कि वह देश-देश के समस्त लोगों के समक्ष अपनी निर्दोषता शपथ द्वारा सिद्ध करे। निश्चयानुसार देश-विदेश के लोग बुलाये जाते हैं। हनूमान् आदि सीता को भी पुण्डरीकपुर से ले आते हैं। जब सीता राज-दरबार में राम के समक्ष पहुँचती तब राम तीक्ष्ण शब्दों द्वारा उसका तिरस्कार करते हैं। सीता सब प्रकार से अपनी निर्दोषता सिद्ध करने के लिए शपथ ग्रहण करती है। राम उसे अग्निप्रवेश की आज्ञा देते हैं। सर्वत्र हाहाकार छा जाता है पर राम अपने वचनों पर अडिग रहते हैं। अग्निकुण्ड तैयार होता है।...महेन्द्रोदय उद्यान में सर्वभूषण मुनिराज के ध्यान और उपसर्ग का वर्णन...। विद्युद्वक्त्रा राक्षसी उनपर उपसर्ग करती है इसका वर्णन...उपसर्ग के अनन्तर मुनिराज को केवलज्ञान हो जाता है और उसके उत्सव के लिए वहाँ देवों का आगमन होता है।
