पद्मपुराण
उपजातिवृत्तम् किं वात्र कृत्यं बहुभाषितेन श्रीश्रेणिक स्वं ननु कर्म पुंसाम् । 'समागमे गच्छति हेतुमावं वियोजने वा सुजनेन साकम् ॥१३॥ सोऽहं महात्मा भुवने समस्ते गतः प्रतापं परमं सुभाग्यः । गुणैरनन्यप्रमितैरुपेतो रविर्यथोड़ाति परो मयूखैः ॥१४॥
इत्या रविषेणाचार्यप्रोक्त पद्मचरिते म्लेच्छपराजयसंकीर्तनं नाम सप्तविंशतितमं पर्व ॥२७॥
इस विषयमें बहुत कहनेसे क्या लाभ है ? हे श्रेणिक ! यह निश्चित बात है कि मनुष्योंका अपना किया कर्म ही उत्तम पुरुषोंके साथ संयोग अथवा वियोग होने में कारणभावको प्राप्त होता है ॥९३।।
परम प्रतापको प्राप्त भाग्यशाली एवं असाधारण गुणोंसे युक्त महात्मा रामचन्द्र समस्त संसारमें इस प्रकार सुशोभित हो रहे थे जिस प्रकार कि किरणोंसे युक्त सूर्य सुशोभित होता है ।।९४॥
इस प्रकार आर्षनामसे प्रसिद्ध रविषेणाचार्य द्वारा कथित पनचरितमें म्लेच्छोंके
पराजयका वर्णन करनेवाला सत्ताईसवाँ पर्व समाप्त हुआ ॥२७॥
