## The Padma Purana: A Summary of Chapters 5-8
**Chapter 5**
This chapter briefly describes the four great lineages: 1) Ikshvaku, 2) Rishi or Chandra, 3) Vidyaadhara, and 4) Hari. The chapter further details how Vaishravana, witnessing their aerial journey, helped them acquire various skills. It also describes how the Anavrit Yaksha (Uncovered Yaksha) caused trouble, but Dasanan and his siblings remained steadfast and mastered many skills.
