Jains made history when Gurudev shree Chitrabhanuji delivered the opening prayer in the House of Representatives. The photograph was taken on the steps of the Capitol Building after this historic event on May 22, 2001.
Over 140 delegates of the Jain community from all over the United States and Canada, along with representatives from India Embassy, witnessed this momentous event from the Gallery of House of Representatives.
