Stanza 108- पद्मम् - a lotus which grows in the autumnal season ( शरद् ). कुरबक - a flower, growing in the vernal season (वसन्त, the spring). कुन्दं - a flower growing in the vernal season ( fafera, comprising the two months Mägba 'and Plālguna). DETI रेणुः - the pollens of Lodhra flowers. The Lodhra flower suggests the हेमन्त season, comprising the two months मार्गशीर्ष and पोष, 'नवप्रवालोद्मसस्यरम्यः प्रफुल्ललोध्रः परिपक्वशालिः। विलीनपद्मः प्रपतत्तुषारः हेमन्तकाल: समुपागतः प्रिये ॥ शिरीष - शिरीष flower, suggests the hot season (ग्रीष्मतुं) comprising the two montes ज्येष्ठ and आषाढ. नीपं- नीप flower suggests the rainy season comprising the two months 371916 and श्रावण. षण्णां ऋतूनां - of the six seasons, The six seasons are enumerated as -- 'शिशिरश्च वसन्तश्च ग्रीष्मो वर्षा शरद्धिमः'. In the city of
Alaka, there are all the six seasons throughout the whole year. one season does not follow the other one, as all of them set in simultaneously in every month of the year there. व्यतिकरमहः - the beauty or pleasure generated by the combination (of the six seasons). व्यतिकरमहः - व्यतिकरः व्यतिषङ्गः अन्योन्यानुप्रवेशः। तस्य तेन जनितः वा महः उत्सवः व्यतिकरमहः । 'भवेद्व्यतिकरः पुंसि व्यसनव्यतिषङ्गयोः' इति, 'महस्तूत्सवतेजसोः' इति च विश्वलोचने। व्याक्तिव्यक्तम् - clearly maniFested. व्यक्त्या पृथगात्मतया स्पष्टतया वा व्यक्तं प्रकटीभूतम् ।
Stanza-109-शक्रम्मन्याः - considering themselves to be Indras. शक्रमात्मानं मन्यन्ते इति शक्रम्मन्याः। परिणतशरच्चन्द्रिकानिर्मलानिresplendent like fully developed autumnal moon-light. परिणता पूर्णता प्राप्ता शरच्चन्द्रिका शरत्कालोदितसम्पूर्णचन्द्रचन्द्रिका परिणतशरच्चन्द्रिका। सेव निर्मलानि विशदानि । अदभ्रशुभ्रवर्णानीत्यर्थः । सकलकलशारदकलानिधिकौमदीविमलानि हर्यस्थलानीति भावः । प्रणयविवशाः - who have lost control over themselves owing to their being love-lorn. प्रणयन विवशाः प्रणयस्य विविशाः वा प्रणयविवशाः । मदयित्नुमदनमथितमनस्कारत्वाद्विनष्टसज्ञाः। विषयाशावशाधीनाः इत्यर्थः । स्वापतेयोष्मवन्ति - possessing warmth of wealth. स्वापतेयं धनम् । स्वपती साधु स्वापतेयम् | The termination ढङ्ग ( एय)
