[ Bhikṣāṣtakam ] sarvasampatkarī caikā pauruşaghni tathā'parā. vrttibhikṣā ca tattvajñairiti bhikṣā tridhoditā.
Seers of the truth described the begging as threefold first Sarvasampatkarī, second Pauruşaghnī and third Vsttibhikṣā.
yatirdhyānādiyukto yo gurvājñāyāṁ vyavasthitaḥ. sadānārambhiņastasya sarvasampatkarī matā.
That of an ascetic is called Sarvasampatkarī, who is absorbed in meditation etc., abides by instructions of his teacher ( Guru ) and always abstains from violence.
vrddhādyarthamasangasya bhramaropamayā’tataḥ. gļhidehopakārāya vihiteti śubhāśayāt.
That of a detached monk is Sarvasampatkarī, roaming about like a bee, made with auspicious disposition of mind to serve the Sthavira etc. (the old ones and the venerable ones etc.) and for the good of the house-holder as well as for his body.
pravrajyäṁ pratipanno yastadvirodhena vartate. asadārambhiņastasya pauruṣaghnīti kirtitā.
That of one is called the Pauruşaghni, who initiated into monkhood acts viciously contrary to it ( monkhood ).
