Candravedhyaka is also mentioned amongst the forty-five canonical texts enumerated by Acārya Śrī Pradyumna-surīśvarji in Vicārasāra Prakaraṇa - Āyāro (1), Süyagada (2), ... ... ... Candāvijjhaya (34), ... ... Devindasanthavaṇam (45)
The Svetāmibara Mūrtipūjaka Sampradāya (White clad, Idol worshipping sect of the Jainas) recognises ten prakīrņakas as canonical texts. However, if all the texts known as prakīrņakas are collected, we get the following twenty-two names:
