Tamil Purport : This weather-worn inscription seems to reeord a gift of land by Irambāțțu-vējān Sattan as palļiccandam to the god (bhațāra) of Tiruviruttalai-Aruvāļam in Nātļāļruppõkku and a gift of sheep for a lamp. A Tamil verse at the end, composed by the donor himself, contains an exhortation to all to offer worship to the Aruhan on the hill.
