पृष्ठप्रेडद्लीनां श्रुतिशिखरहसच्चित्रमुक्ताफलानां _पूगत्वम्मार्जिताग्रद्विजमुकुलमिलच्चन्द्रिकादस्मितानाम् । तिर्यक्सीमन्तरेखाञ्चितचिहुरचयस्फारितैकेक्षणाना
मिन्दुर्दास्य विधत्ते द्रविडवधूवरवक्त्रपकेरुहाणाम् ॥ सभ्रान्तकान्तवनितानवकुङ्कुमाद्र
पादारविन्दपदमण्डललाञ्छितासु । हांग्रभूमिषु सुधाधवलासु यस्यां
व्यथा भवन्ति विकचाम्बुरुहोपहाराः ।। प्राप्तपाकशैलकूटा इव कुचतटयारोदयेनेव लीढा
रागेणौष्ठप्रभायां तिमिरभरमिव क्षेप्तुकामा कबर्याम् । कुर्वाणास्तारकाभिः प्रणयमिव नखेष्वङ्गरगे लुठन्त:
स्वर्गङ्गासैकतस्था इव निशि सुदृशां यत्र भान्तीन्दुपादाः। And after this the text, beginning with the word 'apti' in line 19 of the same page 261, continues the story.
___ This lacuna, too, has been filled up by the editors of the TM(P), but the readings are defective in many places as is clear from the following details :8
In the first verse, the text and the Paraga commentary read वासदन्त०' for बाह्यहन्त०' and नजस्रमहितागुरुदाह०' for 'नभः सुमहितागुरुदाघ०'. :
After the second verse, the third one immediately begins in the P Ms.; and there is no conjoining indeclinable in between. But, both the text as well as the Paraga commentary add '
किच' before the third verse. Excepting the misprint 'रागेनोष्ठ' for the correct reading 'रागणौष्ठ, in the fourth verse, there is no variation in the readings between the P Ms. and the TM(P) so far as the second, third and fourth verses are concerned.
(3) TM(N), p. 406 : After the completion of line 10, the words 'परिषज्जन वर्जयति (in line 11) should be deleted, and the following passage should be added
परिषज्जनस्य कथ्यमानास्तेन भगवता भवान्तरकथा: सदुःखमाकर्ण यन्ती. मुदश्रुजलकणामवलोक्य वीरसेनो नाम विद्याधरनृपः सकृपमवदत्'भगवन् ! असौ सकलदक्षिणश्रेणिनाथस्य विद्याधरपतेश्चक्रसेनस्य तनया तिलकमञ्जरी बालाऽपि जरतीव यौवनस्थापि वनस्थेव कस्मात् पुरुषद्वेषिणी संवृत्ता ? किञ्च पटुशरीरापि प्राक्तने सायाह्ने सहसैव मोहमुपगता,
