In v. 288 there is one Yamaka for a, b. another for e, d. In v. 439 there is Yamaka for a, b. Praāsa for c, d, Thus LC. follows the later KD. tradition according to which the two-Yamaka type is called Adilla, the one Yamaka type is called Madilla. Emendation: See for 5 in 79 d.
31f5s combined with Hiss (v. 153-160). In v. 153 there is one Yamaka for a, b, another for c, d, In v. 154 there is one Yamaka for all the four lines. In vv. 155-160 mostly there is different Prāsas for a. b. and c, d.
There is comsiderable confusion regarding the occurrence of 446h or प्रास in the case of अडिल्ल and मडिल्ल and regarding their presence and the comsequent distinction between 34fse and HÍSA. For. the discussion sce SR. Introdution, pp. 50-53.
315 70 (v. 383-388) has six Sa-gaņas ( -) per linc. In the LC. instances the final Guru of the Sa-ganas can be replaced with two Laghus. For its discussion see KD., p. 112. It is also used in Jinaprabha's 34fGGgfra (v. 5). Iśvarasüri was thus familiar with the latter and followed it for using आलिगनक.
Clou. See under fel. Eset (v. 42, 64, 367-368). It is a compound metre made up of दूहा and काव्य. For the characteristics of दूहा see under Th. To has 24 Mätrās per line divided as 6+4+4+4 +6. The words of the last line of ci are to be repeated in the beginning of the first line of 71124, and the words of the first two lines of the cel are to be repeated, usually in reverse order, in the last line of $121.
