सर्वार्थसिद्धि तत्त्वार्थसूत्र जैनविद्या का एक प्राचीनतम ग्रन्थ है और संस्कृत में सूत्र-पद्धति से जैन सिद्धान्त का विधिवत् संक्षेप में परिचय कराने वाला सम्भवतः सर्वप्रथम ग्रन्थ है। अपने विषय की यह इतनी सुन्दर और प्रामाणिक रचना है कि आज तक दूसरा कोई ग्रन्थ इसकी तुलना नहीं कर पाया। इस ग्रन्थ का महत्त्व और महिमा इससे भी प्रकट है कि इसका प्रचार जैनधर्म के सभी सम्प्रदायों-दिगम्बर, श्वेताम्बर, स्थानकवासी आदि में समान रूप से पाया जाता है। लोकप्रियता में भी यह जैन साहित्य का अद्वितीय ग्रन्थ है। तत्त्वार्थसूत्र पर समय-समय पर अनेक टीकाएँ लिखी गयी हैं। दिगम्बर सम्प्रदाय में इसकी देवनन्दि पूज्यपाद कृत सर्वार्थसिद्धि नामक वृत्ति सर्वप्राचीन मानी जाती है। इसका प्रकाशन अनेक बार हुआ है, किन्तु प्राचीन प्रतियों का समालोचनात्मक ढंग से अध्ययन कर पाट निश्चित करके विस्तृत हिन्दी विवेचन के साथ यह इसका सर्वाधिक प्रामाणिक प्रकाशन है। जैन सिद्धान्त के मर्मज्ञ विद्वान् सिद्धान्ताचार्य पं. फूलचन्द्र शास्त्री ने प्रस्तुत संस्करण के हिन्दी के विवेचन में सर्वार्थसिद्धि का मर्म खोलकर रख दिया है। साथ ही प्रस्तावना में तत्त्वार्थसूत्र और उससे सम्बन्धित विभिन्न पहलुओं पर विस्तार के साथ विचार किया है।
