संकुअ-संकलिओ
त्वं च रूपातिशययुक्तः । ततो मामरूपं परित्यज्य रतिरियं राजानामिम रूपातिशयशालिनं मा गादिति भीतोऽसौ त्वयि दृष्टे रतिचित्तरञ्जनार्थ कामः कामशास्त्रोक्तवशीकरणकारणकरणालिङ्गनादेरनुष्ठानेन 'संठलं' षण्ढत्वं प्राप्तः ॥
Seeing you, even the God of Love, being budiless and hence keenly desirous of winning over Rati's heart, proved totally ineffective in practising the implications of his own preachings. (67)

आमोइय-सुमणाए कोमल-वण्णाए बप्पभट्टिस्स । 'असमंजस' त्ति गाहा लयाए छाय च्चिय अउव्वा ॥६८
आसमन्तान्मोदिताः प्रहर्षिताः सुमनसः पण्डिता यया साऽऽमोदि. तसुमना गाथा । अन्यत्र आमोदः परिमलो विद्यते यासां ता आमोदिका आमोदवत्यः (?) सुमनसः पुष्पाणि यस्याः सा आमोदिकसुमना लता ! तथा कोमला मनोहारिणो वर्णा अक्षराणि यस्यां सा कोमलवर्णा गाथा । अन्यत्र कोमलानि मृदूनि पर्णानि पल्लवरूपाणि यस्याः सा कोमलपर्णा लता । प्राकृते पकारस्य वत्वे कृते 'कोमलवण्णा' इति सदृशं रूपम् । गाथा लतया रूप्पते गाथैव लतेति । तेनायमर्थः । आमोदितसुमनसः कोमलवर्णायाः कोमलपर्णायाश्च बप्पभट्टेः सम्बन्धिन्या 'असमंजसे'त्यादि. गाथायाः छायैवापूर्वा लोकातिवर्तिनी । छाया शोभा वा तापाभावश्चेति प्रिलष्टकमिदम् ।
Bappabhatti's Gatha, containing the keyword asamamjasa' is like a creeper : As a creeper with its fragrant flowers (amoiya- sumani) and tender leaves (komala-vannā) has incomparable beauty, so that Gātbā also completely delighting the connoisseur (amoiyasumaņā) and full of soft sounds (komala-vannā) has incomparable beauty. (68)
