संकुअ-संकलिओ
(Index Verse 7) 'नह-चंडिल'-'नह-कप्पर'-'गयणच्छित्ति य तिहा-कय-नहेहिं। आयरियस्स पएहिं हरिणा व जयं समकंतं ॥२९
आचार्यस्य बप्पभट्टेहरेरिव पदैनिभिर्जगत् समाक्रान्तम् ! बप्पभट्टेस्तावत् पदैर्वचनैः एभिर्जगदाक्रान्तम् । कीरशैः 'तिहा-कय-णहेर्हि' त्रिधा तिसृषु गाथासु कृतनहै: कृतबन्धेस्तै स्त्रिधाकृतनभोभिः । कथमित्याह । नभवण्डिल नभाकपर-गगनाक्षीति । यथा हरेरपि विधाकृतं त्रिखण्ढीकृतं नभो गगनं बेस्तानि तथा । ततस्तै स्त्रिधाकृतनभोभिर्जगदाक्रान्तं ब्याप्तमिति ॥
As the world was conquered by the three steps (paya) of Visnu that divided the aerial space in three parts (tiha-kaya-naha), so the three key word3 (paya) viz. naha-candila, naha-kappara, and gayanacchi of Āyariya (Sk. Ācārya i e. Bappabhatti), figuring in the three Gathai (tiha-kaya-naha) have conquered the world. (29)
The whetting slab of the Sky-Barber
[14] सुरचावोलवण-घणोह-मंडिया-निहिय-तडिगुण-छुरस्स ।
नह चंडिलस्स रेहइ चंद-कला फलिह-सिलिय व्व ॥ ३०
नावितक्षुररदनाधारा भण्डिका । सुरचापमेष 'ओलघणं' आरोपण यस्याः सा तथा घनौघः मेघौघः स एव भण्डिका घनौघण्डिका। सुरचापारोपणा चासो धनौधभण्डिका च सुरचापारोपणघनौषभण्डिका । तत्र निहितः स्थापितः तडिद्गुण एव क्षुरो येन स तथा तस्य सुरचापारोपणघनौषभण्डिकानिहिततडिद्गुणझुरस्य नभश्चण्डिलस्य नमोनापितस्य सम्बन्धिनी स्फटिकशिलिकेव चन्द्रकला राजते ! अल्पा शिला शिकिकेति ॥ ३०
The crescent moon shines as if it were the whetting slab of the sky-Barber, carrying on his rainbow-sling the sharing box of the cloud-mass that contained the lightning-razor, (30)
