Chapter 3: Characteristics of Truth Seekers
Äve Jyän Evi Dashä, Sadguru Bodh Suhay; Te Bodhe Suvichäranä, Tyän Pragate Sukhadäy.
When that state is reached, the teaching of the true Guru shines out; and the blissful right thinking emerges from that teaching.

Explanation & Discussion:
When one attains the deserving state, the Guru is pleased to show him the right path. The pupil is then in a position to think correctly and his mind remains inclined towards the Guru's teaching. Since that teaching can penetrate the heart, the pupil is able to grasp and comprehend it. Such teaching pertains to the everlasting nature of the soul and impermanence of every worldly aspect; one therefore needs to be concerned only with the well being of the soul. As the pupil thus learns that he is the everlasting soul, he is induced to think about his own well being. That is termed here as the right thinking. That thinking is blissful and will lead to the knowledge of Self.
