MAGIC OF SPEECH
No other animals, birds, bugs or living beings in the world have got the kind of speech, that God has given to us - the humans. The wonderful ability to speak so many vowels and consonants is an indisputable proof of man's highest verbal growth.
Remember that speech is double-edged sword. If the good use of it can take the man to high peaks in life, the abuse of it can invite the formidable war like Mahabharat. Like an arrow from bow , once spoken, the words can not be retrieved. For this reason, people desirous of increasing unity, peace, friendliness and affection in life should speak after much thinking. Whole world can be made friend by good proper words and it does not cost any money or labor. I have accepted an aphorism from my spiritual guide as a motto in my life and have benefited greatly from it.
This is that motto:
Speak Slowly, Speak affectionately, Speak respectfully and Speak moderately.
