आर्यागीतिच्छन्दः . 'महिषमृगध्वजवृत्तं यः सततं शुद्धवृत्तमनसि धत्ते । स भजति दृष्टिविशुद्धिं जिनदृष्टपदार्थगोचरां भव्यजनः ॥५१
इत्यरिष्टनेमिपुराणसंग्रह हरिवंशे जिनसेनाचार्यकृती मगध्वजमहिषोपाख्यानवर्णनो नाम
अष्टाविंशः सर्गः ॥२८॥
कहते हैं कि जो भव्य जीव इस महिषासुर और मृगध्वजके वृत्तान्तको सदा अपने शुद्ध हृदयमें धारण करता है वह जिनेन्द्र भगवान्के द्वारा इष्ट पदार्थोंको विषय करनेवाली दर्शनविशुद्धिसम्यग्दर्शनकी निर्मलताको प्राप्त होता है ।।५१||
इस प्रकार अरिष्टनेमिपुराणके संग्रहसे युक्त, जिनसेनाचार्य रचित हरिवंशपुराणमें मृगध्वज और
महिषके चरितका वर्णन करनेवाला अट्ठाईसवाँ सर्ग समाप्त हुआ ॥२८॥
