त्वदीयं वस्तु भोः स्वामिन् ! तुभ्यमेव समर्पितम् ।
हे आराध्य गुरुदेव स्वामी - समन्तभद्र ! आपकी यह अपूर्व अनुपम कृति देवागम (आप्तमीमांसा) मुझे आजसे कोई ७० वर्ष पहले प्राप्त हुई थी । उस वक्त बराबर यह मेरी पाठ्य वस्तु बनी हुई है और मैं इसके अध्ययन-मनन तथा मर्मको समझने के प्रयत्न द्वारा इसका समुचित परिचय प्राप्त करनेमें लगा रहा हूं । वह परिचय मुझे कहाँ तक प्राप्त हो सका है और मैं कितने अंशों में इस ग्रन्थके गूढ तथा गम्भीर पद-वाक्योंकी गहराई - में स्थित अर्थको मालूम करनेमें समर्थ हो सका हूँ, यह सब संक्षेपमें ग्रन्थके अनुवादसे, जो आपके अनन्यभक्त आचार्य श्रीविद्यानन्दजीकी अष्टसहस्री - टीकाका बहुत कुछ आभारी है, जाना जा सकता है, और उसे पूरे तौरपर तो आप ही जान सकते हैं। मैं तो इतना ही समझता हूँ कि आपकी आराधना करते हुए, जिनका मैं बहुत ऋणी हूँ, मुझे जो दृष्टिशक्ति प्राप्त हुई है और उस दृष्टि शक्तिके द्वारा मैंने किसीका भी निमित्त पाकर जो कुछ अर्थका अवलोकन किया है, यह कृति उसीका प्रतिफल है । इसमें आपके ही विचारोंका प्रतिबिम्ब होनेसे वास्तवमें यह आपकी ही वस्तु है और इसलिये आपको ही सादर समर्पित है । आप लोकहितकी मूर्ति हैं, आपके प्रसादसे इस कृति द्वारा यदि कुछ भी लोकहितका साधन हो सका तो मैं अपनेको आपके ऋणसे कुछ उऋण हुआ समझँगा ।
