प्रस्तुत ग्रन्थ के प्रकाशन में स्व० श्रीमान् फतहलाल जी सा० हिंगर की पुण्य स्मृति में उनके पारिवारिक जनों ने अर्थ सहयोग प्रदान किया है । स्व० फतहलाल जी सा० हिंगर का जन्म सन् १९१९ कार्तिक शुक्ला ६ को उदयपुर नगर में हुआ, उनके पिताजी का नाम लक्ष्मीलाल जी एवं माताजी का नाम देवकु वर था ।
आपने काशी हिन्दू विश्वविद्यालय से स्नातकीय उपाधि तकनीकी शिक्षा औद्योगिक रसायन एवं रासयनिक इंजिनियरिंग विषय लेकर प्राप्त की । आप कई भाषाएँ जानते थे एवं भारत के स्वतन्त्रता आंदोलन में भी आपने सक्रिय भूमिका निभाई थी ।
हैदराबाद, सिंघ, पोरबंदर, भावनगर, अहमदाबाद में कार्य करने के बाद आप उदयपुर में आयुर्वेद सेवाश्रम के उपमहाप्रबन्धक के पद पर २६ वर्ष रहने के पश्चात् सेवा निवृत्त हुए ।
आप एवं आपका परिवार धार्मिक संस्कारों से ओतप्रोत रहा है । आपने साधुमार्गी संघ के कई आचार्यों की निकट से सेवा का लाभ लिया था । आपके परिवार से आपकी दादीजी एवं भूवाजी ने भागवती दीक्षाएँ अंगीकार की हैं ।
