It is popularly known as BỊhatkalpasūtra. It is divided into six chapters which deal with rules and regulations pertaining to the conduct of monks and nuns. Restrictions regarding their food, apparatus, halting place, etc. are expounded in this text. Expiations relating to violations or partial transgressions of vows are also prescribed in it.
