Shri Ratilal Dipchand Desai (Joint Secretary to the Agama Publication Dept., Mahavira Jaina Vidyalaya) is always anxious as well as worried about the successful completion of the task of preparing critical edition of all the Āgamas. He has greatly accelerated the publication work and helped us in matters related to excellent printing. He deserves thanks and praise not only from us but from all those who have interest in the publication of the Āgamas.
Shri Kantilal Dahyabhai Kora (Registrar, Shri Mahavira Jaina Vidyalaya) has taken personal interest in matters related to the Press. He has greatly facilitated our work by making all the necessary arrangements with the Press. His hard labour deserves appreciation from us and from all those who have interest in the publication of the Āgamas.
We are grateful to Dr. Nagin J. Shah, the Acting Director of L. D. Institute of Indology, who has been kind enough to prepare this Editors' Note'-an English translation of Sampādakiya' of this part.
We cannot forget Shastry Shri Harishankarbhai Ambaram Pandya who has prepared the appendices to be included in the second part.
Shri V. P. Bhagvat, the manager of the famous Mouj Printing Bureau, Bombay, has left upon us an everlasting impression by providing us with various printing facilities. We hope that he will continue to be helpful to us in future too.
Again, we express our deep sense of gratitude towards all those who have extended their kind co-operation in our task of Agama Publication. We hope that their co-operation will continue with unstinted vigour.
