9. Siddhārtha wrestling : the painting is divided into two panels—the upper portion shows Siddhartha wrestling with two other men and the lower panel depicts two persons applying oil on Siddhārtha who is sitting on a Cauki. (P. 102)

12. Trisalā's grief and joy : the upper half shows dejected Trisala talking with her attendants about the stagnant embryo. The lower half depicts cheerful Trisalā after she felt movement of the baby in her womb. This joy is expressed in the colourful costumes of Trišala and her minds. (P. 134)
13. Birth of Mabāvira : the great teacher is in his mother's arm; Trisala is lying on a couch wbile a maid stands beside her. (P. 140)
14. Mahavira's lustration and bath : on the top of Mt. Meru Indra sits with Mahavira on his lap attended by two Indras representing 63 who came to bathe the child. Indra's decorated parasol is in the upper most panel along with two bulls symbolising clouds. (P. 144)
15. Mahavira in a royal Sivika carried by four men: the Sivika was prepared by sakra. Mabāvira dressed in royal costume and ornaments is accompanied by dancers on either sides and conch players on the top. (P. 166)
16. Mahāvira plucks his hair : after removing all his valuable dress and ornaments, the great teacher plucked his hair and gave it to sakra. (P. 172)
