He should shave it with a razor or pluck it out before that date. Thereafter, he should clean it every fortnight. A monk who uses a razor should use it once a month. One who uses scissors should use it once in half-a-month. He who makes a habit of plucking out his hair, should do so once in six months. Sthaviras should pluck out their hair once a year.
इससे पहले ही, पार्योंको उस्तरे से मुण्डन अथवा लुंचन करके केश-रहित हो जाना चाहिए। पक्ष-पक्ष (पन्द्रहपन्द्रह दिन) में प्रारोपना (सफाई) करनी चाहिए। उस्तरे से मुण्डित होने वाले को मास-मास में मुण्डन कराना चाहिये । कैंची से मुण्डन कराने वाले को पन्द्रहपन्द्रह दिन में मुण्डन करवाना चाहिए। लुचन करने वाले को छह माह में लुंचन करना चाहिए और स्थविरों को सांवत्सरिक लोच करना चाहिए। २८५. वर्षावास में रहे हुए श्रमणों और श्रमरिणयों को। पर्युषण के पश्चात् - अधिकरण-युक्त (कलह, विवादयुक्त) वाणी बोलना नहीं कल्पता है। जो साधु या साध्वी पर्युषण के पश्चात् असंयमित वाणी बोलता है, उसे इस प्रकार सम्बोधन करना चाहिए-हे आर्य! इस प्रकार की वाणी बोलने का प्राचार नहीं है, पाप जो बोल रहे हैं, वह उचित नहीं है, प्रकल्प्य है । जो साधु या साध्वी पर्युषण के पश्चात् दोषपूर्ण वाणी बोलता है, उसे अपने समूह में से निष्कासित कर देना चाहिए। २८६. निश्चय ही यहां पर वर्षावास में रहे हए निर्ग्रन्थों। और निन्थिनियों को
285. It is not proper for monks and nuns to use harsh words after the commencement of paryusana. He who does so should be thus cautioned : "Sir, the language you use, is improper". If he persists in using harsh words he should be asked to leave the group.
286. Anticipating bitterness, quarrels and dissentions between monks, let young monks ask the forgiveness of their elders and let elders ask the forgiveness of the young on the very day the par yuşana commences.
