साथ, जलरहित मासिक-भक्त तप करके, चित्रा नक्षत्र । का योग आने पर, मध्यरात्रि के समय बैठे-बैठे कालधर्म को प्राप्त हुए। यावत् सर्व दुःखों से रहित हुए।
१६६. अहंतु अरिष्टनेमि को कालधर्म को प्राप्त हुए, यावत् सर्व दुःखों से मुक्त हुए, चौरासी हजार वर्ष व्यतीत हो गए और पचासीवें हजार वर्ष के नौ सौ वर्ष भी व्यतीत हो गए तथा उस पर दशवीं शती का अस्सीवां वर्ष का समय चल रहा है। अर्थात् अरिष्टनेमि को कालगत हुए चौरासी हजार नौ सौ अस्सी वर्ष व्यतीत हो गए हैं।
