The First Jain Students' Social Gathering.
(221
Now we shall take the prospective view and shall turn to what we ought to do.
We are in want of
(a) a Jain Central College (6) a Jain Central Library which should contain all
the manuscripts available on the whole world and all the printed Jain literature. Muni Shri Mohanlalji Library has got this object in its view but we shall wait to see the same fulfilled
in its entirety.. (c) a Jafn Bank. There are so many funds vested in
securities. If these are utilized in founding a bank, the same are sure to employ so many Jain youths and make a most profitable business ; By this the funds remain intact and bring much
more interest. (d) a Jain Daily conducted on sound principles. (e) a universal Jain Panchayat fund. () a closer union among the four orders of the church. (s) brotherly feelings among all the sects. (h) fncreased and closer supervision over all the
Dharmada Sansthas. (1) a representative council consisting of a certain
number of educated, wealtby, experienced Jains
with powers to control all affairs of the Jains, I would give how some advice to the organisers of this gathering who are students in respect to (a) Social affairs
They should respect their elders, love equals and and sympathise with their youngsters. (6) Religious: affairs
They siould not be Sceptic but study and under. stand the hidden beauties of Jain Religion.
