This presentation by members of the Gipsy community in Spain offers an overview of the Spanish Gipsy community and its teachings. Sergi Rodriguez Lopez Ros is a journalist. Martyrdom and the role of martyrs figures prominently in all the major religions of the world. In December 2004, Sikhs will commemorate the 3ooth anniversary of the Martyrdom of the sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. This seminar examines how and why Sikhs and non-Sikhs represent their history as a history of persecutions and martyrdoms. It aims to clarify the concept of martyrdom within a Sikh context. He is both a patron and member of several interfaith organizations, and serves as an advisor to the Sikh Heritage Trust. Pere Garcia is a social mediator and founder of the Gipsy Youth Coordination in Catalonia, Rafoel Reyes is a singer and member of the Evangelical Church of Philadelphia Pal Ahluwalia is Professor of Politics at Goldsmiths College, University of London, and a volunteer of the Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha. Juan Manuel Vargas Guitarist and teacher of guitar in Catalonia. Dr. Arvind Pal Singh Mandair is Assistant Professor in the Bindra Chair in Sikh Studies at Hofstra University.
