Ashin Nanissara is a Buddhist Monk from Central Myanmar. In 1994 Ashin founded the Theravad Dhamma Society in Austin, Texas. He has also founded a hospital and a monastery in Myanmar. Ashin is a reknowned Buddhist scholar and activist. He has also done work with The Millennium World Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual Leaders.
