The 5H Program/ Homes for Change
The 5H Program's five main priorities are Homes, Hygiene, Health, Human Values, and Harmony in Diversity. Currently its focus is on social and community development in rural areas of developing countries. The "Homes for Change" initiative, a part of the 5H Program, builds modest but durable homes for poor families in rural south India, at no cost to the recipients. Each home is comprised of three rooms - a kitchen, a bedroom, and a family room - with a separate toilet provided. All homes are built of durable brick and cement, and each costs approximately $2,000 (US) to build in India. Donors can contribute the cost of particular items, such as a toilet, materials, or labor. The program is being expanded to other countries. All 5H projects are planned in consultation with the local population to ensure that the greatest needs are met for both individuals and the whole community.

Smart Living Program for Public and Private Schools
dopestesent
Smart Living Program, created by Dr. Gaspar Garcia. MD., teaches children Qigong practice in a game like situation. This ancient Taoist practice teaches children correct breathing and the capacity to utilize the breath for thought and emotion management, concentration, relaxation, regular exercise, and human values. The program has been taught for more than ten years at the Sports Center of the Marbella City Council, and is taught now in public schools of the Costa de Sol District, in Malaga, Spain. Several programs are offered to school teachers to learn the Qigong practice so they can teach their students in their own schools. Also, some programs encouraged students' parents to become involved. Qigong training provides health, peace and happiness, love, inner strength and security, and the possibility of mastering an ability. By teaching its practice to children, the programs are actually giving them tools that they will be able to use throughout their lives in order to lead a more healthy, rewarding, successful, and happy existence.

Global Church Challenge Partnership - Global Village
There are many ways to become involved with Habitat for Humanity International. By becoming a volunteer through the Global Village program, individuals can help build houses with affiliates in other countries. These short-term builds are occurring throughout the year, all over the globe. Church congregations can also do Global Village trips, through the Global Church Challenge program, where they will partner with a faith group in their host affiliate. Building houses, building human connections and building faith is what Habitat is all about. Habitat for Humanity International USA
