Jain Center and Sanghpati Shri Talakchand and Smt.Taraben Shah, of Mumbai, India and Shri Dr. Nikhilbhai and Smt. Rupaben Doshi, Mansfield, Ohio, are pleased to invite Sakol Sangh and their family and friends to celebrate the Pratishtha Mahotsav (Deity installation and grand opening of temple consecrate ceremony) of the Shikharbandhi Temple in Lewis Center (Columbus) Ohio to be held on July 20-23, 2012. The Dhwaar Udghatan event (ceremonial door opening) will be on Monday, July 23. 2012
JCOCO had a humble beginning on Mother's Day, May 12. 1991. Over the years, handful of families met in each others' homes to celebrate Jain events. Now, after two decades, our Sangh has over 100 families who regularly take part in our center's activities. With years of planning, soul searching, with generous donations from our local and national Jain communities and time devoted by various individuals: along with many volunteers overseeing various aspect of temple project, the dream has become a reality.
We are honored and grateful for the blessings of Vairagya Deshnadakx Acharya Vijay Hemchandrasuriswarji Maharaja Saheb. Acharya Kalyanbodhi Suriswani Maharaja Saheb, Acharya Yashovijaysunishwarji Maharaja Saheb, Acharya Chaitya-Sagarji Maharaja Saheb and Upadhyaya Shri Urjayantji Maharaj. The auspicious Pratishtha ceremony will be held under the spiritual guidance of Bhattarak Shri Charukeerthiji of Moodbidri, Karnataka, India and Shri Gurudev Chitrabhanuji. Various vidhis will be conducted by Shri Bhattarak Charukeerthiji, Shri Narendrabhai Nandu and his group from India, and Shri Nareshbhai Shah from New York. Our Sangh is also very fortunate to have Shri Amrender Muniji. Dr. Taralaben Doshi, Shrimati Pramodaben Chitrabhanuji.
