EDUCARE FOUNDATION INC.
This child received educational support from the Educare Foundation during 1999. As you know, poverty forces children into child labor - an unfortunate situation in South Asia. An Educare scholarship will help him or her to become self-reliant. As of January 2000, the Educare Foundation has 135 children in it's support program, in seven schools located in six different states in India. Educare works with a committee of teachers in each school, providing direct help ranging from Rupees 500 to 1000 per child each year until the completion of school. We have been doing this since 1994. In the subcontinent this is a drop in the bucket. Why not join in this effort and add another very much needed drop in the bucket.
