Maitri Bhavana
Maitri bhāvanun pavitra jharanun, muja haiyāmān vahiyā kare; Shubha thão ā sakala viśvanun, evī bhāvanā nitya rahe;
Gunathi bharela gunījana dekhī, haiyu mārūn nṛtya kare; E santonā carana kamalaman, muja jīvananun arghya rahe;
Dīna krūra ne dharma vihoņā, dekhi dilamān darda rahe; Karunābhīni ankhomānthi, ashruno shubha srota vahe;
Marga bhulelā jīvana pathika ne, marga cindhavā ubho rahūn; Kare upeksha e maraganī, toye samatā chitta dharun;
Chitrabhānūnī dharma bhāvanā, haiye sau mānava lāve; Vera jheranan papa tajine, mangala gīto e gave.

May the sacred stream of amity flow for ever in my heart; May the universe prosper, such is my cherished desire.
May my heart sing with ecstasy at the sight of the virtuous; May my life be an offering at their feet.
May my heart beat at the sight of the wretched, cruel, and the poor; And may tears of compassion flow from my eyes.
May I always be there to show the path to the pathless wanderers of life; Yet if they should not hearken to me, may I abide patiently.
May the spirit of goodwill enter into all our hearts; May we all sing together the immortal song of brotherhood.
