Ecology - The Jain Way
Dr. HansKung drafted four essential commitments in the Parliament of World Religions held in Chicago in 1993 to be shared by humans as a common ground for a global ethic. 18 They are as follows:
The justice in our societies depends on the insight and readiness to act justly, a consciousness of duty towards Mother Earth. Therefore both the heads and hearts of men and women must be addressed.
