Sadharmic Bhawan / Retirement Community Survey Update
Following are the results obtained from your response to the Sadharmic Bhavan Home survey. Due to virus in the JAINA HQ computer we lost all the e-mailed responses you sent. However, we received 49 mails in responses. Following is the analysis of the results.

Summary
About 50% of the respondents would be ready to move in retirement community within four years. Over 50% of the respondents preferred FL location with Two bedroom Apartment Condominium/Town home, willing to spend up to $150000. Everybody wanted to have Kitchen And Dining facility. Everybody preferred to have easy access to shopping center, medical facility with one third requiring 24 hour nursing assistance. The following specifications may satisfy over 80% of the requirements for an ideal senior citizens center/community.
Requirement Specifications
Such a Sadhermic Bhavan must be located in Suburban location near at least a medium size city, which provides variety of shopping conveniences. Our major interest at this time should be in Florida State with medium interest in California and Texas. We need to share our development with other community (Hindu community). Town Homes and Condominiums are our prime priority. The facility should have 1200 to 1800 sq. ft. space with two to three bedrooms and kitchen. We definitely need small Jain Temple building accommodating all practices very near to our community residences and a multifunction Community Hall We need an assisted living facility in the nearby vicinity. It is to our advantage to have community association to be able to approve new entrants.

Next step We will start looking for a developer who can put together various communities (e.g. Hindu and Jain). We also welcome any developer who can meet our requirements to develop our project. Upon receiving a quote from any developer the Seniors Housing Committee will review the proposal and proceed.
