A hearing was held on 7th and 28th December '99. The committee has promised the following to the neighbors and the township to resolve complaints from the neighbor:
1. Temple members will not park on the street in front of the houses and driveways.
2. Temple will receive a formal letter from Safety Bus Co., to allow parking up to 25 cars during major events in their parking lot (Completed).
3. Temple will make an effort to seek parking permission from the Masonic Hall
on Park Ave. (across the rail tracks).
4. Temple will hire an off-duty officer to direct and control parking during major
events.

The Society celebrated on February 6th (The Meru Terash) as Lord Rushabhdev's Nirvan Kalyanak day. Bhaktamar Pujan was performed at that time. The function was attended by more than 200 people.Sur Sadhana program was organized on Febrauay 12th and was well structured by Narendra Sheth of Geetmala Radio Program.Beginning with the new year, the study classes are now conducted twice a month. The theme of the second
class in January was 'Learn with Fun'.

The Planning Commission of the City of Buena Park unanimously approved the JCSC's proposed project for a new Jain Bhavan. The proposed plan includes the renovation of the existing building, a new auditorium building with underground parking, and the exterior renovation of the Post Office building. The exterior and the interior of the existing and the proposed single, homogeneous facility.
