Continued from page 1 JAINA Convention. Chief guest Vice-President Al Gore and Honourable guests like Father Valles of Ahmedabad, Sushma Swaraj (Ex-Minister of Information and Broadcasting in India) and many prominent scholars and dignitaries will grace the occasion.
Last but not least, JAINA, under the leadership of Dr. Manoj Dharamsi, is preparing for 2600h Birth Anniversary of Bhagwan Mahavir in year 2001. Dr. Manoj Dharamsi, Dr. Manibhai Mehta and myself held meetings in India with many Jain leaders to develop common programs. I also visited New Delhi and followed up my meeting with Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, I also met Home minister L. K. Advani,
Minister of Broadcasting and Information Mr. Pramod Mahajan, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Mr. Khurana, leader of Opposition In Rajya Sabha Dr. Manmohan Singh and Ms. Sushma Swaraj (Ex-minister of Information and Broadcasting).
As you can see, hundreds of JAINA volunteers were active in the last three months to fulfil JAINA's stated mission "From Cradle to Cremation - JAINA is there!"
