(ii) Anāśātanā-vinaya : The 45 kinds of Anāśātanā-vinaya(1) Tīrtharkara; (2) Dharma; (3) Ācārya; (4) Upādhyāya (Elderly in age and knowledge); (5) Sthavira (elder); (6) Kula (progeny of the same tradition); (7) Gaccha (a collection of many kulas); (8) Sangha (a collection of many gacchas);(9) Sãmbhogika (Sādhus with whom bhikṣā etc. is taken); (10) Kriyā (there is the other world; the soul exists stating such things); (11) to (15) the 5 kinds of knowledge like Matijñāna, Śruta-jñāna etc. (1) Aśātanā (displeasure); (2) devotion and honour for them; (3) adoring extraordinary virtues. Showing these 3 kinds of politeness to those, 15 kinds of Yogas: so, 15 x 3 = 45. (c) Căritra-vinaya: To have five kinds of faith in Cāritra. Acting according to them and stating them. 5 x 3 = 15. A Śrāvaka should follow the 15 kinds of Cāritra-vinaya. (d) Mana-vinaya, (e) Vacana-vinaya and (f) Kāya-vinaya displaying politeness to Gurumahārāja etc. by means of the 3 yogas namely the activities of the mind, body and speech. Avoiding inauspicious propensities and engaging in auspicious propensities. (g) Lokavyvahāra-vinaya: This is of 7 kinds well known in the world to be shown to Gurumahārāja etc. (1) staying near him; (2) abiding by his wishes; (3) trying to repay his benefactions with gratitude; (4) showing devotion to him by giving food etc., because of his virtues like Jñāna; (5) taking care of him and helping him in times of sorrow, sickness etc.; (6) thinking of the right time and place to serve him; (7) being obedient and helpful to him in all things. 95 3) Vaiyāvstya:rendering service to the Ācārya. The Sthaviras (elders) the tapasvīs, the sick sādhus, the new sādhus, the fellow members of one's faith (kula, gaccha, sangha). A śrāvaka should give them food, dress and utensils whenever they are in need of it.
