Dr. S.P. Pandey delivers a Lecture at International
Summer School for Jain Studies
New Delhi, on 28th August 2007, Dr. S.P. Pandey, Asstt. Director, Parshwanath Vidyapeeth delivered a lecture on "Concept of Sila in Jainism" at the International Summer School for Jain Studies, New Delhi. It is worth mentioning here that
International Summer School for Jaina Studies organizes classes for foreign students and scholars every year since 2005 in order to promote the Jaina Studies in foreign countries. This program has been a great success. More than thirty scholars including Sarah Hadmack, Manao, Hawaii, Mr. Chuck etc. belonging to different group attended the course.
The whole credit of the success of the program goes to Mr. Shugan C. Jain, Hon. Director of the ISSJS. The students and faculty member of ISSJS had visited Parshwanath Vidyapeeth in June 2007 and appreciated the academic activities of the Institute.
