Rāma tries again and again to convince Rāvaņa for the mistake he has done by kidnapping Sītā to Lanka and return her back without any hesitation. It is the demand of social religious and ethical rules. But Rāvaņa refuses his advice. At last Rāma is compelled by the situation to fight against him. Rāvana is killed with his several family members and Rāma captures Lanka. But he gifts Lanka to Vibhīşaņa by enthroning him. He never thinks to include Lanka in his own territory. Because his aim is to get his wife back not to defeat Rāvana and to rule over Lanka. Democracy
Democracy is one of the positive forms of political nonviolence. The thinkers of political science have defined it in their own different ways. According to Bryce :
“Democracy is a form of government in which the ruling power of state is invested not in a particular class or classes, but in the members of the community as a whole.S
Seely has defined democracy in very short as democracy is a government in which everyone has a share"
But the definition of democracy given by Abrahm Lincon is quite famous - .
"Democracy is a government of the people, for the people and by the people."
These definitions very clearly emphasis on equality and the importance of people. According to Abraham Lincon, in the democracy, there is nothing except people. It is the form of government in which non-violence plays an important role. The
