Accordingly, Diwākaranandi held a high position among the Jain ascetics in Karnataka, and he was a scholar of high repute in Prakrit, Sanskrit and Kannada. He has translated saint Umāswami's (also known as Umāsvati) the Tattvāratasūtra into Kannada. ]
