________________ Someswara I retaliated there upon by sending an expedition under Vijayaditya III into the Chola dominions and advanced at the head of a large army towards Kudala Sangama at the confluence of Thunga and Bhadra rivers in the Mysore country. Thus the attack Vengi was thwarted. Someswara I further took precautions to safeguard his territories.
