AWARDS FOR PROMINENT JAIN SAMAJ LEADERS Ahimsa Foundation had announced awards for prominent Jain Samaj Leaders in various categories, such as, Industrialists, Businessmen, Professionals, Authors, Religious Leaders, Scholars and Institutions through its newsletter, Ahimsa Times. Although, considerable time has elapsed in waiting for the receipt of entries or proposals for these awards, very few responses have been received in most of the categories and therefore it is not feasible to carry out a selection for each of the categories of people who could be considered as a right and appropriate choice for the awards, The trustees of Ahimsa Foundation have therefore been constrained to keep all the entries received in abeyance and consider these later, if and when the awards are announced in future. The foundation, in the meantime, expresses its gratefulness to all those, who have cared to send their proposals for being considered as prominent Jain samaj leaders and have and shown their interest and confidence in our web portal, www.jainsamaj.org.
