I am unfortunately unable to make sense of the following passages: Thana 1/30: egá dhammapadima jam se āyā pajjavajäte (cp. Thāna 1/29 ega ahammapaḍimā jam se āyā parikilesati); Paṇhāvagaraṇa 10.7, in a description of food one is to avoid jam pi uddiṭṭhathaviya-racitaga-pajjavajäta-pakinṇa-pdukarana-påmiccam; and Ayara II.1.1.11/409 (4), which lays down rules for accepting food: assim khalu paḍiggahiyamsi appe pacchākamme appe pajjavajāte (the same passage is found in 409 (8), but without appe pacchākamme, cf. Mette, Pind'esanā, p. 208 (sutra 521) purakamma-pacchakamme appe asuddhe ya and, for the translation, p. 115.
