who perform disinterested sacrifices are required to go to various stations on the path of the fathers. It is clear that this is not found in the Upanişads, nor in the Brahmasutras, nor in the Bhagavadgita. Evidently it is the special contribution of Vallbhacarya, evidently an innovation suited to his own system of Suddhādvaita Vedanta.
